How CountLeap handles your data: no accounts, no personal data collection, optional analytics cookies, and countdown settings stored only in your browser.
What we collect
CountLeap has no accounts, logins or forms that send personal data to our servers. The countdown timers, birthday, baby due date, wedding and retirement tools run entirely in your browser. The dates you enter stay on your device and in any link you choose to copy.
Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from and how the site performs. IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline, analytics cookies are not used and Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser and choosing again.
What is stored in your browser
- Your light or dark theme choice.
- Your analytics cookie choice.
- The last countdown you created with one of the tools, so it is still there when you come back.
- Your device’s time zone is read to show countdowns in your local time. It is not sent to us or stored.
Third parties
Apart from Google Analytics (only after you interact with the page or accept cookies), the site does not load third-party trackers, advertising or social widgets.
Your rights
